AT 2175 - Introduction to Sports MedicineCredits: (3) Presents the duties and functions of the certified athletic trainer and their relationship to other allied health care and sports medicine professionals. The course will focus on the fundamental causes, prevention, recognition, care, reconditioning of musculoskeletal injuries/illnesses, and program organization and administration. The course will cover skills needed for first aid and CPR certification. **If professional rescuer CPR certification is needed, take AT 2300.
