MFET 3310 - Material Selection and Heat Treat

Terminology, concepts and principles involved in the selection, specification and processing of engineering materials so they meet design criteria including load, life, and appearance. Testing methods to determine those properties and characteristics. Manual and computer assessing of material data.
Two lectures per week.
Pre-requisite(s): MFET 1210 /L, MFET 2300 , CHEM 1110 .
Co-Requisite(s): MFET 3310L .
