DANC 2300 - Dance Kinesiology

This course provides a study of anatomy and dance kinesiology with a specific focus on anatomical analysis, conditioning principles and injury prevention, with special attention given to application of information to technique class, rehearsal, choreography and individual anomalies. The course prepares the student to understand basic kinesiological analysis and fundamental concepts of somatic inquiry.
