This course is designed to familiarize the teacher candidate with current knowledge and practices as they relate to teaching literacy (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) in the primary grades (K-2).
Pre-requisite(s): Admission to Teacher Education.
Suggested Requisite(s): This course is part of Elementary Education Level 1 and should be taken with EDUC 3140, EDUC 3205, EDUC 3270, EDUC 4550.
