MSE 3700 - Manufacturing Systems I Credits: (3) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem This course focuses on effective design and implementation of reliable, economically competitive, and environmentally benign manufacturing processes and systems. Topics will include an overview of the manufacturing systems approach in production, control, quality, automation, an introduction to facilities planning and design, an introduction to operations research and simulation in manufacturing, and engineering economics. Students will also be introduced to DoD systems engineering terminology. Pre-requisite(s): MFET 2320 .
