ECON 2010 SS - Principles of Microeconomics Credits: (3) Typically Taught Summer Semester: Full Sem - Online Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem, Full Sem - Online Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem, Full Sem - Online The application of economic concepts to the analysis of scarcity of individual, firm, and organizational behavior. Topic coverage includes the theories of how consumers and firms make choices, and how various rules guide their respective decisions. The course also explores the theory of market structures, such as perfect and imperfect competition, as well as monopoly. Pre-requisite(s): Earn a “C” or better in MATH 1010 , MATH 1050 , MATH 1080 , MATH 1090 , or MATH 1210 or; earn a “C” or better in any math course for which either MATH 1010 , MATH 1050 , MATH 1080 , or MATH 1090 is a prerequisite or; score 3 or higher on AP Calculus exam or; score 70 or higher on ACCUPLACER College Level Math (CLM) or; score of 23 or higher on Math ACT or; score of 55 or higher on ALEKS.
