HNRS 2110 HU/SS - Intellectual Traditions: Great Ideas of the West in the Classical and Medieval Eras Credits: (3) Variable Title Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Description: A survey of influential ideas, literature and events that characterize antiquity and the middle ages in the Western world. This course is offered either for HU credit (2110A) or for SS credit (2110B). Prior to taking this course students are strongly advised to take HNRS 1110 and a 1000-level HNRS “Perspectives” General Education course. A student may repeat a course number for up to 6 credits if the course name, course syllabus, and faculty/instructor teaching the course is different.
