THEA 3243 - Costume History Credits: (3) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Course Fee: $6.00 Course Fee Purpose: The course fee associated with this class pays for maintenance of the department lab and associated technology. Description: A study of fashion from ancient Egypt to the 20th century in relation to stage applications and contemporary fashion. Students will gain a basic understanding of major periods in Western clothing history as well as the interrelationship of clothing and culture and a working ability to research clothing of any culture or era.
