POLS 2300 SS - Introduction to Political Theory Credits: (3) Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Description: An examination of the arguments behind and the implications of the dominant theories of politics. Theories that are studied include liberalism, conservatism, socialism, and republicanism, among others. In studying these theories, the works of such theorists as Plato, Aristotle, Locke, Rousseau, Marx, and Mill will be examined.
