EDUC 3120 - Reading Instruction in the Primary Grades Credits: (3) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Description: This course is designed to familiarize the teacher candidate with current knowledge and practices as they relate to teaching literacy (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) in the primary grades (K-2). The focus of this course will be how to apply current literacy research in a primary grade classroom. Pre-requisite(s): Admission to Teacher Education. Suggested Requisite(s): Should be taken with other courses in Level 1.
