Description: This course addresses the concepts and application of health informatics. Topics addressed in the course include: interoperability, IT standards, privacy and security of health information, cybersecurity, strategic planning for IT, and emerging trends in health informatics. Emphasis is placed on the use of data analytics to support management decision making.
