NEUR 4830 - Directed Readings Credits: (1-3) Typically Taught Summer Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Description: Independent readings or secondary research on advanced neuroscience special topics under the direction of a faculty mentor. For each hour of credit in a readings project the student is required to read an appropriate number of primary research journal articles and book chapters. A paper written in APA style and oral report are required at the end of the term. Pre-requisite(s): NEUR 2950 (Introduction to Neuroscience), PSY 3600 (Statistics) or equivalent, and faculty mentor permission. Students may enroll in this course twice for a maximum of 6 credit hours.
