MILS 2600 - Leadership Under Fire Credits: (3) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Description: This course will explore both functional and dysfunctional behavior in leadership roles. Using examples from military and civilian leadership, this course will teach leadership techniques essential for future managers and leaders that will be of great value to both civilian and military leaders. It will focus on ethical/moral, historical, and social influences and examine outlook, styles, skills, and behavior essential for providing successful leadership. This will culminate in a hands-on team-building exercise. No prerequisites. Students are NOT required to be enrolled in a ROTC course, nor to do so in the future.
