NRSG 7802 - DNP Project II Credits: (1) Typically Taught Summer Semester: Full Sem, Full Sem - Online Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem, Full Sem - Online Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem, Full Sem - Online Description: The DNP project courses produce a tangible and deliverable academic product created from a practice immersion experience, which is reviewed and evaluated by an academic committee. The final product shows evidence of the student’s competence in critical thinking by translating evidence into practice and evaluating the evidence in the practice environment aimed toward improving healthcare outcomes. This course is the second of six courses (NRSG 7801 to NRSG 7806 ) and reflects a synthesis of the student’s growth in knowledge and expertise throughout the program. NRSG 7802 focuses on creating implementation and evaluation plans, presenting project proposals, and obtaining academic committee and IRB approval. This course may contain 30 to 120 DNP practicum hours. Pre-requisite(s): Students must be admitted to the DNP program and have successfully completed NRSG 7801 .
