Course Fee Purpose: Course fees are used to buy the equipment required to produce podcasts. Replacement equipment such as auxiliary and microphone (XLR) cables and headphones are needed.
Description: This course will acquaint students with all aspects of podcasting and help them become better storytellers. Students will learn the components of podcast production including interviewing, story development, scriptwriting, interview techniques, remote and digital audio recording, editing of sound, mixing, and final production for streaming.
Pre-requisite(s): COMM 1560 or permission of instructor.
