GSE 6230 - Observing and Assessing Children in Context Credits: (3) Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem, Full Sem - Online Description: This course provides students with knowledge and skills to use observation, documentation, and assessment tools to inform instruction, planning, and intervention programs for young children birth through eight years. Special attention is given to contextualized assessment practices that are responsive to children’s strengths, needs, cultures, races, languages, and family experiences.
