GSE 6404 - Facilities and Event Management in Sport

Description: The course is designed to help students understand the role of managing sports events and facilities. Topics including maintenance, day-to-day operations, producing events, types of facilities, financial management, and building a facility will be presented. Multiple types of recreation facilities will be examined to compare and contrast differences and learn how to improve sustainability at sport and recreation facilities and events.
