ENGL 3350 - Studies in Literary Genres Credits: (3) Variable Title Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Description: This variable topics course introduces students to the historical and cultural origins of literary genres, their distinguishing features, and the dynamics of literary development. Genres may include the novel, drama, poetry, creative non-fiction, bildungsroman, the diary, biography, autobiography, satire, and others. It may be taken more than once with different designations. Pre-requisite(s): ENGL 2010 or ENGL 2015 or equivalent. May be repeated once for a total of six credit hours.
