Description: Characteristics of microorganisms and parasites - emphasizing mechanisms by which they cause disease in humans.  Intended for students in the Clinical Laboratory Sciences program and those working in that field.  The course is not intended as a first course in biology and it cannot be used as a Microbiology elective course for Microbiology majors. This course is only offered online.
