EDUC 6515 - Foundations in Special Education: Law and Practice Credits: (3) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Description: This course will introduce students to the philosophical, historical, legal, and ethical foundations of special education. Students will examine in depth the laws and practices related to special education and how those laws are influencing children with special needs today. Students will also learn about individuals with special needs as they are identified and served in our school system.
