ID 4860 INT - Internship for Interior Design Credits: (3) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Course Fee: $20.00 Course Fee Purpose: Computer lab/studio equipment including but not limited to computers, printers, print cartridges, paper. replaced as needed. Basic computer software needed for this course (Microsoft Office, internet access) Description: A structured professional-level field experience where the interior design major applies skills through work experience with a qualified interior designer, architect, or design firm. The curriculum also involves research into the field of interior design, professional practice and professional certification. Tours, activities, and field trips may be featured as part of the course curriculum in addition to the on-site experience in the design field. Internship must be approved by the instructor within the first two weeks of the semester.
