HTHS 1108 - Biocalculations for Health Professions Credits: (5) Description: Fundamental mathematical concepts using health professions applications. Topics include: basic arithmetic, pre-algebra, beginning algebra, geometry, and statistics applied to solutions, dosage calculations, electrolytes, acid base balance, circulatory and urinary function, pulmonary function testing and energy and metabolism. This course does not meet the University’s quantitative literacy requirement. Note: This course is offered as needed.
