PSY 2040 - Child, Family, and Adult Advocacy Credits: (3) Typically Taught Summer Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Description: This course will explore behavioral health related advocacy work for those who are interested to be trained to become Behavioral Health Technicians. The class will be utilizing simulation activities such as role-playing and scenario-based video vignettes. Areas of training include professional/ethical standards of advocacy, parental rights, family rights, and integration of community resources in integrated behavioral healthcare model. Pre-requisite(s): PSY 1010 .
