ECE 5310 - Radar Systems Credits: (3) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Course Fee: $35.00 Course Fee Purpose: Maintenance of laboratory equipment. Description: Theory and practice of radar systems and signal processing used for detection, tracking, and location of targets. Topics include CW and pulsed-Doppler systems, EM wave propagation applied to the Radar Range equation. Hardware system characterization including noise, sensitivity, range resolution, ambiguity function, detection and false alarm probabilities. Pre-requisite(s): ECE 3210 , ECE 3310 and either ECE 3430 or MATH 3410 . Note: Admittance into the Professional Program required.
