Course Fee Purpose: Maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Description: Theory and practice of radar systems and signal processing used for detection, tracking, and location of targets. Topics include CW and pulsed-Doppler systems, EM wave propagation applied to the Radar Range equation. Hardware system characterization including noise, sensitivity, range resolution, ambiguity function, detection and false alarm probabilities.
Pre-requisite(s): ECE 3210, ECE 3310 and either ECE 3430 or MATH 3410.
Note: Admittance into the Professional Program required.
