Course Fee Purpose: Course fees are designed to cover the costs of lab equipment maintenance and replacement including desktop and server computer systems and software; consumable materials and supplies; and support for lab aides, student tutors, and online instructional resources.
Description: This course introduces scripting for automation using scripting languages, with applications in system administration, DevOps, and containerized environments. Students learn how to automate file manipulation, manage permissions, and design modular scripts using CLIs. The course covers container automation, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools, with an emphasis on security, ethics, and best practices.
Pre-requisite(s): CS 1400  and CYBR 2300 .
