ART 3445 - Interaction Design 1 Credits: (3) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Course Fee: $107.00 Course Fee Purpose: Design Studio materials and equipment. KA Sculpture Studio lab equipment, materials and assistance; KA Digital Lab access, equipment, software and printing. Description: The course focuses on the principles of interactive design as they apply to the web. It emphasizes graphic design techniques and theories tailored explicitly for online platforms. Students will explore best practices in web-based graphic design, covering key topics such as design thinking, design systems, usability, information architecture, branding, and interface design. Throughout the course, students will design and develop web interfaces, compiling them into functional prototypes in preparation for web development. May be repeated once for credit.
