ESS 2250  - Scientific Foundation of Kinesiology

Description: This course will provide undergraduate students with the scientific foundations of human movement and exercise, including anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and exercise science, needed for conducting health and fitness assessments and exercise prescriptions primarily for apparently healthy individuals and those with controlled disease. Special considerations related to the exercise environment, different populations (young, old, and pregnant women) will also be discussed.
Pre-requisite(s): HTHS 2110  or ZOOL 2320
