Description: An introduction the practical applications of discrete mathematics and statistics to cybersecurity and network management using exemplar applications in security design, encryption. network design, and more. Topics include sets, propositional logic, Boolean algebra, counting, discrete probability, graphs and trees, finite state machines, data encoding, data collection, and statistical analysis.
