The Master of Education degree (MEd) at Weber State University is a professional program intended to support educators in schools, business, industry, and higher education through advancing the theoretical and practical applications of teaching and leadership. There are multiple emphases from which candidates choose to best fit their needs: Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, Higher Education Leadership, and Family Life Education. Courses within the emphases are aligned to state and national professional standards, and may lead to advanced licensure. A Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership is available for candidates who have a master’s degree in education and are seeking the administrative/supervisory license only.
