The Certificate of Profeciency in Jazz Studies is a course of study for music majors or minors that focuses on all aspects of the performance of jazz music. Students will learn improvisation, arranging, pedagogical practices, and performance practices. For more information on program requirements, please contact the Department of Performing Arts .
- Grade Requirements: A minimum grade of “C” in all courses for the certificate and a minimum overall GPA of 2.0.
