Anthropology Departmental Honors

Please contact the Sociology & Anthropology Department for advisement and permission prior to enrolling in Honors courses.
- Program Prerequisite: Enroll in the General Honors Program and complete 6 hours of General Honors courses.
- Grade Requirements: Maintain an overall GPA of 3.3.
- Credit Hour Requirements: Fulfill the requirements for the Anthropology departmental Major, of which at least 12 hours must be completed on an Honors basis. A student may receive Honors credit in any Anthropology course. In addition, take 3 hours in an Honors senior project, either ANTH 4300 or HNRS 4990 .
