Teacher licensure program for individuals who are seeking a mild/moderate license in special education and who have already completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

GPA Requirements for GCT in Special Education Teaching
Following admission to the GCT program, students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Students must earn at least a B- in all licensure courses.
Course Requirement for GCT in Special Education Teaching
The program of study consists of:
- 23 credit hours of specific coursework.
- Practicum is a 2 credit hour course which requires 60 clock hours in a special education classroom.
- Student teaching is a 6 credit hour course which requires a minimum of 60 full teaching days in a special education classroom.
