Chemistry Teaching Minor

The Chemistry Teaching Minor leads to a Chemistry I endorsement in Utah public schools when combined with another secondary (grades 7-12) teaching major or equivalent coursework.
- Program Prerequisite: Must combine with a teaching major and meet the Teacher Education admission and licensure requirements (see Department of Teacher Education) to complete a secondary teaching license.
- Grade Requirements: A grade of “C” or better in courses required for this major (a grade of “C-” is not acceptable).
- Credit Hour Requirements: When accompanying a Science Teaching Major (BS), a minimum of 18 credits are required.
