MIS 4730 - IT Project Management and Systems Design Credits: (3) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Course Fee: $30.00 Course Fee Purpose: The course fees collected from students enrolled in this class are used for student-related expenditures. Examples of such expenditures are for periodic technology upgrades in the MIS Lab, software licenses, and program assessment materials. Description: This course covers project management principles, methodology, and tools. It also provides the knowledge and skills to design and implement computer-based systems to solve business problems. Topics include the planning and management of IT and software development projects, requirement analysis, system design and development, implementation and testing. Pre-requisite(s): Business Foundations; BSAD 2899 and MIS 3210 and MIS 3610 and MIS 2110 .
