Course Fee Purpose: Broadcast equipment, events, radio licensing and services.
Description: Students meet once a week and work as DJs for the Weber State radio station, KWCR. One studio shift of 2 hours per week is required. Specific shift hours will be arranged early in the semester. This is offered as a 1-, 2- and 3-credit course. For the 1-credit option, students are graded based on attendance and completing weekly shifts. For the 2- and 3- credit option students have additional work with events and assignments for the station as needed. May be repeated for a maximum of 12 credit hours, but returning students are encouraged to enroll in the upper-division version, COMM 3891.
May be taken up to 12 times.
