ENGL 2250 CA/CC - CW: Introduction to Creative Writing

Description: In this introductory course students will write original pieces in three genres that may include flash fiction, short stories, poetry, creative non-fiction, plays, and graphic novels. Students will read exemplary pieces from each genre in order to build a vocabulary base. Through writing exercises, students will generate original writing and refine oral and communicative skills. Students will critique and be critiqued in order to revise early drafts.
Pre-requisite(s): ENGL 1005  or ENGL 1006  and ENGL 1007  or ENGL 1010  or ENGL 2010  or ENGL 2015  with a grade of “C” or better.
