Description: This course provides an introduction to the study and science of personality - consistencies in people’s thoughts, feelings, and behavior over time and across situations. Topics will include assessment; development; biological and contextual influences on personality; emotion and motivation; the self; personality and culture; psychological adjustment; and clinical disorders of personality. The course will focus on current empirical research and modern theories of personality.
