BME 3090 - Project Management

Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem
Description: Project Management course is designed to prepare students for the senior capstone project.  The course will include development of a contract, goal setting, time management, budgeting, project funding, project leadership and team building principles.  Engineering economics, team work, quality statistics and continuous improvement will also be discussed.  Other topics include project life cycles, organization and risk management. Students should take this course the semester before taking BME 4010. 
Pre-requisite(s): Permission from the department.
Pre-requisite/Co-requisite: BME 3600  and PUBH 3500  and (BME 3210  or ECE 3210 ) and (BME 3130  or ECE 3120 ) and (ECE 3610  or ECE 3710 ) and (CHEM 2310  or ZOOL 2420   or HTHS 1104  or HTHS 1110 )
