ESS 2350 - Current Topics in Personal Training Credits: (3) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Description: This course will enable undergraduate students to develop applied skills in client management and prepare for certification exams (ACSM or NSCA). Students will learn emerging and timely topics in personal and fitness training by critically interpreting information from various sources. The students in this course will also learn about risk management, including the scope of practice, liability, emergency action plan, and equipment safety. Pre-requisite(s): HTHS 2110 . Pre-requisite/Co-requisite: ESS 2250 .
