The Occupational Safety (SAFE) emphasis builds upon the Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety (OEHS) emphasis to prepare the student for a professional career in Occupational Health and Safety. The SAFE emphasis explores management topics in greater depth for students to become familiar with safety regulations in industry and construction, accident investigation and prevention, fire safety, hazardous materials management, product stewardship and safety, and environmental management.
