EDUC 3120 - Reading Instruction in the Primary Grades

This course is designed to familiarize the teacher candidate with current knowledge and practices as they relate to teaching literacy (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) in the primary grades (K-2). The focus of this course will be how to apply current literacy research in a primary grade classroom.
Pre-requisite(s): Admission to Teacher Education.
Suggested Requisite(s): This course is part of Elementary Education Level 1 and should be taken with  EDUC 3140 , EDUC 3205 , EDUC 3270 , EDUC 4550 .
