EDUC 4521 - Practicum in Special Education A Credits: (3) Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem The purpose of this practicum is to provide teacher candidates with opportunities to implement content-specific instruction and demonstrate quality inclusion strategies while working with students in special education. Teacher candidates are required to spend at least 60 hours in an assigned classroom. Pre-requisite(s): Completion of Special Education Block 1 Foundation courses with a grade of B- or better. Co-Requisite(s): This course is part of Special Education Block 2 courses and should be taken with EDUC 3545 , EDUC 3585 , EDUC 4535 , EDUC 3371 , EDUC 4580 .
