MATH 1060 - Trigonometry Credits: (3) Typically Taught Summer Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem This course is true to its Greek title root “triangle-measure” and is a preparatory course for calculus. Topics include trigonometric functions and their graphs, trigonometric identities, inverse trigonometric functions, trigonometric equations, solving triangles, and applications of trigonometry. Complex numbers, polar coordinates and vectors are also introduced. Pre-requisite(s): MATH 1010 or MATH 1050 or Math ACT score of 23 or higher or placement test.
