MET 3150 - Engineering Technology Materials Credits: (3) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Description: Material properties, processing and selection of materials for technological applications. Design parameters for material selection of metals and nonmetals. Mechanical behavior and service failures of metallic alloys and other engineering materials at high and low temperatures. Lecture plus laboratory work in materials testing. Pre-requisite(s): CHEM 1110 and (MFET 2300 or MFET 2320 ) .
