NET 2415 - Routing and Switching Credits: (4) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Course Fee: $20.00 Course Fee Purpose: Course fees are designed to cover the costs of lab equipment maintenance and replacement including desktop and server computer systems and software; consumable materials and supplies; and support for lab aides, student tutors, and online instructional resources. Description: This course is designed to provide a practical understanding of the configuration, securing, and administration of routing and switching devices. Practical labs using Cisco equipment will be used to introduce, reinforce, and evaluate networking and security concepts. A detailed look into IP addressing, networking protocols, and security best practices is included. Pre-requisite(s): NET 2300 or CS 2705 .
