PAR 2030 - Special Populations in Paramedic Practice Credits: (3) Typically Taught Summer Semester: 1st Blk Typically Taught Fall Semester: 1st Blk Typically Taught Spring Semester: 1st Blk Description: Prepares the student to recognize, assess and provide paramedic interventions related to the special challenges posed by neonate, pediatric, obstetric, geriatrics, and psychiatric patients. Acute interventions for the chronically ill and home care patient are discussed. Current AHA, PEPP, and national EMS Education Standards are utilized. Pre-requisite(s): PAR 2000 and PAR 3010 .
