MICR 3403 GLB - Tropical Diseases Credits: (3) Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem, Full Sem - Online Description: Study of tropical diseases caused by viral, bacterial, protozoan, fungal, and helminthic agents, including their transmission, disease course, pathogenesis, treatment, prevention, and control using a multi-disciplinary approach integrating case studies, labs, epidemiology, immunopathology as well as microbiology. This course consists of 2 hours of lecture and 1 three-hour laboratory per week. Pre-requisite(s): MICR 2054 .
