ENGL 3120 - Foundations in Professional & Technical Writing Credits: (3) Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem, Full Sem-Online Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem, Full Sem-Online Description: This course provides the theoretical and rhetorical knowledge that underpins the practice of technical and professional writing. Students will learn about rhetorical theories, research methods, social justice initiatives, technological theories, and ethics. The course will prepare students for understanding why technical and professional writers make the choices they do and empower students to explain the exigence of their field of study. Pre-requisite(s): ENGL 2010 or ENGL 2015 .
