OEHS 3580 - Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety Internship Credits: (1-3) Typically Taught Summer Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Description: This internship course provides students with practical experience in occupational environmental health and safety settings. Students will apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world workplace environments. The internship experience will encompass various aspects of safety and health, including hazard identification, risk assessment, safety program development, and regulatory compliance. Through hands-on experiences, students will develop skills in workplace inspections, incident investigations, and communication with stakeholders. Pre-requisite(s): OEHS 3520 , OEHS 3530 , OEHS 3550 , Approval from internship coordinator.
