MILS 1020 - Introduction to Profession of Arms

Course Fee: $50.00
Course Fee Purpose: The course fees in this course will be used to purchase training aides, training resources and academic materials. Course fees will be used to pay for expenses regarding field training exercises, food/meals, training site fees, transportation costs, uniform items and lab supplies.
Description: Introduces cadets to the personal challenges and competencies that are critical for adaptive leadership.  Cadets learn the basics of the communications process and the importance for leaders to develop the essential skills to effectively communicate in the Army.  Students will examine the Army profession and what it means to be a professional in the U.S. Army.  A three-hour weekly leadership lab is included as well as one weekend field training exercise during the semester. 
Participation in weekly physical fitness training is expected and should be taken as MILS 2400 .
